Not Enough Hours in The day

So today I am hitting it hard in getting the house together with cleaning the house, laundry, and preparing my meals for the week. I have really been slacking this week as far as eating is concerned as by the time I get out of school then go to work and get home I am drained. To tired to eat let alone cook something to eat.

To make it easier on myself I have decided that it will be worth a few hours today to prepare meals and get myself ready for the week all at once to maybe save some time through the week.

Commit to be Fit

So I didn't write yesterday and I kicked myself for it last night. I spent all day yesterday at orientation for school then grocery shopping and finally home to cook then clean the house.

I am so excited I changed my work schedule and I am now a full time student as well. Wow! I finally did it and I so proud of myself.

I also finally ordered my FoodLovers kit yesterday too, so I can kinda looking forward to getting that and seeing if it will work for me like it has for my siblings.

So I have told you guys about this monstrosity of a sweet tooth that I have and its is truly no joke. I literally have to fight tooth and nail with myself to not gorge on Twix, snack cakes and ice cream. I feel like every time I overcome my sweet tooth I have won a heavy weight bout. I am the Mayweather of this and feel like I have to knock it out every time. However we all know we cant be Superman man every day sometimes we are plain old Clark Kent and we lose.

I have learned not beat myself up about just push more in the gym to recoup my losses.


I am working on a new recipe and you should see it posted in the next day or so. Be on the look out.

Motivation

I woke up today a little excited and also little scared. I spent a big chunk of last night organizing my grocery list and cleaning out my pantry of unwanted, not new lifestyle healthy treats. I was literally perplexed reading some the labels with 20 something odd ingredients some of which I couldn't even pronounce. I even opened my dictionary app just to look up some of this crap and the uses and was floored. Talk about disgusting. Some of the uses for some of this crap was cleaning engines.

New commitment for my own sanity.....try to find foods with no more than three ingredients. At the very least with ingredients I readily identify.

I have been looking in to these weight programs like the Six Week Body Makeover and FoodLovers programs. A lot ofwhat these programs do is amazing, especially that FoodLovers program. I consulted with my doctor about and explains the FoodLovers is more about a whole lifestyle change not just a fad diet. He also told me about his wife has been on it for about 6 years now and her whole body health not just her weight has improved. She lost a total of 94lbs in 7 1/2  months and has kept it off for 5 years now using the same plan. His whole family's health has improved being on the plan as well his daughter was little heavy as well and she has loss and kept it off just from the lifestyle her mom adapted.

I ordered the plan myself and I am so stoked and can't wait to get it. I am just waiting to get and read more about thr role sugar and insulin play in weight loss or gain.

I have also begun to begin thinking about my new wardrobe and I TOTALLY stoked about it.

I am headed off to do some housework and then to workout.
